A WOMAN has revealed that she wore heavy make-up and eyelash extensions for a more natural look.
While many women will wear make-up to give them a confidence boost, in a recent social media trend, we are seeing more and more people ditch the heavy beauty products and embrace their natural beauty.

And Lauren Davidson is one of those who has started to embrace her natural looks – and she’s left people stunned in the process.
Posting online, Lauren shared a before and after look at her transformation.
At the start of the short clip, we see a variety of pictures of Lauren prior to her ‘glow up’.
Lauren donned a full face of make-up, with her cheeks perfectly contoured.
Her eyebrows were neatly carved and her lips were lined and finished with matte lipstick.
Not only this, but she also wore dark eye make-up and completed her eyes with long, fluttery eyelash extensions.
However, Lauren then made the decision to ditch the heavy make-up and explained that she stopped getting her eyelashes done too.
Instead, Lauren opted for a much more natural look, with the heavy foundation and contour nowhere to be seen.
As well as this, she also ditched the heavy eyeshadow and instead wore just a light flick of mascara.
But that’s not all, as she also stopped wearing lipstick too and instead used a light gloss or lip balm to add a subtle shine to her pout.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @laurendavvvidson, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 386,600 views.
Social media users were open-mouthed at Lauren’s natural beauty and many took to the comments to express this.
Many described Lauren as ‘beautiful’ and thought that opting for a more natural style was a ‘power move’.
One person said: “Beautiful girl.”
Another added: “You look amazing.”
A third commented: “So naturally beautiful.”
At the same time, another user penned: “So pretty before and after!”
Meanwhile someone else wrote: “Power move.”
